Music Therapy

Місія Музикотерапія_Місія Україна

Helping Ukrainian children cope with war-related trauma through music, art, and body-based therapy, in partnership with psychologists and musicians.

This unique program, led by experienced psychologists, combines music, art therapy, and body-oriented therapy to provide psychological support for children affected by war. Music, with live performances by the Kyiv Classical Orchestra under the direction of UNESCO Artist for Peace Herman Makarenko, plays a key role in creating a safe space for children to explore their emotions and help them process stressful episodes. Through this group session, children learn coping mechanisms and develop resilience.

The project received the patronage of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO.

The project is implemented in collaboration with Kyiv Classic Orchestra.
