Oksana Schocher is a co-founder of Mission Ukraine Foundation. She has extensive experience working in government institutions (Ministry of Emergency Situations) and international organizations (the American Chamber of Commerce). In 2011 she moved to Vienna for family reasons, where she has been living with her family and actively participating in the life of the Ukrainian diaspora in the city.

She is a co-organizer of numerous cultural events aimed at promoting Ukrainian culture in Austria, as well as a charity fair, the funds raised by the fair since 2014 have been used to help people affected by the military actions in eastern Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Oksana immediately joined the volunteer movement.

Together with Natalia Lukyanova, she helped the Romanian charity foundation “Daruieste Viata” to organize the delivery of medical supplies throughout Ukraine (in particular for military units and hospitals in the frontline zone), cooperated with other foundations and helped raise funds to purchase needed goods for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
