New Start Psychological Rehabilitation Project: Empowering Ukraine’s Resilience

Our Mission and Aims The NEW START Psychological Rehabilitation Project, led by "Mission Ukraine," is committed to strengthening the mental resilience of Ukrainians in the face of ongoing war and fostering post-traumatic growth. Our aim is to provide community members with the tools and resources to stand together and support each other through these difficult times. Our initial priority is to assist those dedicated volunteers who have been diligently serving day and night for months, facing burnout. These are the unsung heroes—doctors, social workers, psychologists—who work tirelessly in the crucible of conflict. Their well-being is not just a benefit to them but is a cornerstone of a recovering Ukraine. By providing them with the support they need, we ensure that they can continue to contribute effectively, ultimately strengthening our entire community. Contribute Now for a Resilient Tomorrow The challenge is enormous, but so is the collective power of individual goodwill. Your donation today isn't just a gift; it's an investment in the future of a tenacious, strong Ukraine. Make a contribution today to kickstart the 'New Start' that countless Ukrainians are longing for. Partner with us in this mission, and together, we can transform despair into a powerful wave of hope and enduring change. In unity, we're set to forge a fresh beginning, bolstering Ukraine's resilience. Your support is invaluable, and we are thankful for it. Ready to make a difference? Get in touch to explore your role in supporting this project. What Your Donation Will Do Prevent Burnout: Your contribution directly supports the psychological rehabilitation and sustenance of volunteers, first responders, and medical professionals. Sustain Communities: Help us build robust support groups and communities that offer ongoing psychological support and foster resilience. Empower Resilience Training: Your donation will enable us to provide essential resilience training programs for volunteers, equipping them with valuable tools to navigate challenging situations while maintaining their mental well-being.   Sustainable Peace Urgent Need Strength in Unity Our project aligns perfectly with UN Sustainable Development Goals, promoting peaceful and inclusive progress in Ukrainian society by prioritizing the mental well-being of volunteers and military families. With over 70% of Ukrainians facing daily overwhelming stress, the need for immediate action is undeniable. The percentage of war-impacted individuals has surged from 7% to 50%, emphasizing the urgency of our efforts. Our initiative is built on collaboration and synergy, aiming to unite the expertise and resources of diverse institutions into a cohesive and effective psychological rehabilitation program.   What´s next? As the war continues ”Mission Ukraine” wants to be part of a solution to sustain the psychologically literate, stable, and strong civil society, whose members know how to support each other and themselves. Looking ahead, we envision two primary beneficiary groups: Volunteers at Risk of Burnout: This group includes doctors, social workers, psychologists, and other first responders who tirelessly safeguard the well-being of Ukrainians during the ongoing conflict. They will continue to play a pivotal role in Ukraine's recovery and reconstruction. Military and Veteran Family Members: We aim to provide psychological assistance, psychoeducation, and support to the families of military personnel and veterans. Our efforts also involve preparing these families for the return and successful reintegration of veterans into civilian life. Support for widows of our heroes

Ukrainian woman is a source of inspiration and a potent driving force behind her family. Our women have an incredible will to live and a strong sense of purpose. Still, some need psychological help as they have lost their heroes in combat. Mission Ukraine Foundation launched cooperation with LAGERTA, an NGO representing the international community of women, which was founded by Oksana Korolovych. They are engaged in many projects, but we want to support this particular one: "The women of Fallen Heroes". The project provides psychological, social, and legal assistance to Ukrainian women who have lost their loved ones in combat. Many of them have not been able to cope with their grief and are now experiencing deep trauma and depression. We want to help improve the mental well-being of those who lost their partners and help them resume their lives. In spite of the fact that the language of war losses will never be forgotten! We are grateful to the LAGERTA community for this valuable mission. The Mission Ukraine Charitable Foundation is ready to contribute to the recovery of both physical and psychological health. Together possible 🙌🏻

Hot soup and coffee for everyone

Mission Ukraine provides self-heating soups and drinks to those who are unable to prepare a meal themselves due to a lack of electricity or because they are located in a very hot war zone and cannot cook. The self-heating can heats itself up to +42°C in just 3 minutes with a few simple steps. It maintains the heat for approximately 20 minutes. No electrical appliances, batteries, or external heat sources are required. There is nothing more comforting than a steaming bowl of soup. It warms you from the inside out and makes you feel safe. Our brains seem to connect physical and social warmth. Studies suggest that eating hot soup, or even just holding a warm cup of it, can increase positive feelings. Soup is often thought of as healthy and nutritious. Coffee... well, who doesn't like a cup of coffee? Coffee also contains important nutrients that have been linked to improved energy and performance, can boost athletic performance, and help maintain muscle mass. Coffee can help reduce depression and promote a healthy heart. Help us with your donations!

Tactical medicine with PFVM

"Mission accomplished" On March 28th, Nataliya Lukyanova and Yevheniy Lukyanov transported the necessary equipment to the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital (PFVMH). PFVMH is a non-governmental organization of civilian healthcare professionals providing medical care on the frontline. From day one of the invasion, their volunteers have been first on the scene in combat zones across the country, risking their lives to treat injured civilians and combatants, and carrying out evacuations. Volunteer doctors of PFVMH provided skilled medical care to over 56,000 patients. Thanks to NGO “Give Live” - "Daruieste Viata" generous donation, we managed to deliver: two bases of MEDUVENT Standard with MEDUCORE Standard on LIFE-BASE 3 NG, a bottle of oxygen, and a transport bag; one Electrocardiograph Ascard; one Electrocardiograph Mesi M; one ACG Tablet with 12 channels. The total value of the equipment is around 57000 Euros. We are immensely grateful to the NGO "Daruieste Viata" sponsors for their donations. Without their contribution, this achievement would not be possible. You can also support our other projects and make things possible together!
